Good location in easy walking distance to the beach on Captiva + in direct neighbourhood to some of the popular restaurants on the island

I love that the cottages are suite unto themselves. The cottage was very romantic and comfortable. Our experience was awesome. A great plus was that the location made it so we could walk to whatever we wanted. I will stay again
The only complaint was that the parking was tight.

On arrival, guest services showed us our room and told us a little about the area. We spent most of our time at the beautiful beach and dining in the local establishments. Food was good, presentation of food was very good. Service very good and surprisingly fast and not rushed. Trip included 2 free breakfast which were excellent as well as beach chairs, umbrellas and a slice of pizza at the beach house emporium. Quiet area, restful, peaceful and pleasant.
First time staying at a more personalized inn in the area. Was a nice break from the impersonal stays at some of the larger chain hotels. Staff frequently asked if we were enjoting ourselves and if we needed anything to better our stay. We live in fort myers and captiva island inn is a bit of paradise right in our neighborhood. Loved the whole weekend experience there, would definitely return.

Excellent location. Comfortable room.
House keeping could be better. Bed was made but room wasn't cleaned during our stay.

The location on Andy Rosse Lane was perfect! Amenities include two breakfast restaurants to choose from (included), beach chairs and umbrellas to use, the beach is at the end of the street and there are several restaurants within walking distance. We were upgraded to the Celebration House on property. Definitely a great stay!!

We had a very quaint cottage that felt roomy and cozy at the same time. The hammock out front, the secluded well-landscaped porch and overall quietness was just what we wanted. The Inn is close to the beach (one block away!) and a couple eateries where we sat outside every morning and evening (often with music). The staff was extremely helpful whenever we made an inquiry. This is not a 4-star room, but if you want a cottage-setting that is quiet but you can get to the beach for sunset in about 4 minutes, stay here.

The Celebration House is a terrific facility with a central local to the beach and other islalnd acitivities. Would return.
The cottage we were first booked at was right behind the K. L. Rest. so esthetically a turnoff. It was cute but a bit musty. Angie (the Mgr.) offered us a room in the Celebration House upon request. All Good than.

This is located on a wonderful street with food market, cafe's and restaurants. Basically, you don't need a car once you get here as everything is within walking distance, including the beach.
We had the room above the real estate office facing the street - although it is great for people watching, it is a bit noisy when people start tossing back the awesome margarita's next door. Everything sort of feels like it needs a good scrub and some paint as well....it's not really dirty, it just looks worn down and untidy. But the rate was cheap and we had a great time.

We just booked a room, any room, we wanted to be close to the beach. Unexpectedly, when we checked in, we were upgraded to the third floor honeymoon suite, if we didn't mind taking the steps as the elevator was on the spritz. To our surprise this was as good as home with lots of space where family came over to fix several meals with us. We will book here again, for sure. We didn't want much room service, so what we got was minimal. Our stay was pure pleasure; walking to the beach daily.
We could pick on things, but it's not worth mentioning.

The location was great, but I had the most horrible night ever It wasn't explained that the air conditioner was on the ceiling and we sweat and could not sleep all night. When complaining the next morning nothing was offered for a consoling. At 300.00 a night it was aweful! The men at the desk were short and abrasive. I have stayed on the Island many times before at Tween Waters and Holiday Inn and The cottages at the inlet. All were awesome. Not a good stay at all.

Very quaint and beachy. Accomodations were not the cleanest - dirt on popcorn ceiling from fan, and windows, dirty sponges left by kitchen sink, old sheets, some torn curtains, but bath and sheets seemed clean enough so it was comfortable. It is in the center of all the action and restaurants so is fun. All the above is acceptable at a rustic beach cottage, but certainly nothing I would tolerate in a normal hotel/motel. We were only there to sleep so it was fine. Very cute place.
The unt needed a good scrubbing and some new window coverings, sheets.

Unusual setup with shared dining room, kitchen etc but with own lockable room with en suite worked really well. Met great Dutch couple who were sharing the house and then spent next week travelling with them.

It was just great for us as there was a fine place to eat next door and we also enjoyed the music playing next door. However that may not appeal to everyone
